FIREFIGHTERS have responded to a fire in the open in Gobowen.
The fire was reported to Shropshire fire and Rescue at around 8pm on Wednesday, February 26, at an address in Henlle Gardens.
One crew was dispatched from Oswestry to the call, which was described as a fire in the open, involving a large tree and a quantity of commercial waste.
Firefighters used a hosereel jet to tackle the fire, which was extinguished at around 8.30pm.
