Police are appealing for witnesses to a robbery on Palewell Common Drive in East Sheen that took place at 10pm on February 17.

According to police reports a 23-year-old male sustained a wound to his back.

Chris Murphie - Police Sergeant for East Sheen local policing team, said “I am sure this incident will cause some concern among the local community.

"However, I would like to reassure residents that Violent crime on the streets of London continues to be the Met’s top priority and East Sheen is, and remains to be, a safe area.

"CID continue to investigate this crime and the local policing team are out on patrol in the area today and will continue to be over the coming days.

"If you see us on patrol, please do stop and speak to us, we’re here to help."

The London Ambulance Service attended and transported him to a London hospital where he received treatment and was later discharged.

His injuries are not life changing.

No arrests have been made.

The investigation is ongoing.

Police would like to hear from anyone who may have any information about the incident.

They are being advised to call 101 and quote CAD 8307/17FEB20.
