THE decision to extend fencing along Bournemouth's East Cliff has clearly got one resident's goat.

This sign had been posted onto the new barrier, erected to keep goats – which live on the cliffs around Boscombe – away from the roads.

Residents complained after BCP Council extended the goat fence, to get ready for an intake of new animals in the spring.

The council says it has a countryside stewardship agreement lasting until 2024.

However, it appears not everyone is happy about that, with the sign stating: "This beautiful view has been obstructed and ruined for you and visiting tourists on whom we depend."

And I'm sure that isn't what BCP stands for.
