Chelsea have recalled Conor Gallagher from his Charlton loan.

The 19-year-old was due to spend the season with the Addicks but the Blues have cut his spell in SE7 early.

Chelsea’s Academy Player of The Year last season has shined at The Valley during the first half of the season, scoring six goal and contributing three assists in 26 games for Lee Bowyer’s side.

He’s been training with Frank Lampard’s side on Tuesday, but is expected to seal a loan move to a Premiership or Championship side fighting for promotion.
