Police are appealing for help to identify a cyclist who was reportedly involved in a fight with a man at Bushy Park.

Officers were called to the scene at around 1.38pm on December 28, to reports of an altercation.

The London Ambulance Service also attended the scene where they found a man - thought to be in his 60's, suffering from a serious leg injury.

He was taken to hospital with injuries that were not life threatening, but did require surgery.

According to emergency service reports the victim was injured following an argument with an unknown male cyclist in the park.

The suspect is alleged to have cycled off.

He is described as a white man, aged between 30 to 40 years, is tall and of large build, clean shaven and speaking with a London accent.

At the time of the incident he was wearing a grey tracksuit with blue stripes and was riding a mountain bike.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who thinks they know the identity of the suspect.
