Police are appealing for witnesses after a 19-year-old man was killed after the motorbike he was travelling on hit a lamppost in Feltham.

On January 2, at around 9:03pm the London Ambulance Service made a call to the Met Police to report a road incident that took place at South View on Bedfont Road in Feltham.

According to emergency service reports a 19-year-old male had been in a collision involving a lamppost.

The London Air Ambulance Service were also called to the scene however - the male rider had been seriously injured and died at the scene of the incident.

His next of kin have been notified and a formal identification awaits.

No other vehicles are believed to have been involved in the collision.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage is asked to contact police on 101 quoting 6525/2JAN or call the incident room at Alperton Traffic Garage on 020 8991 9555.
