Richmond's Sports Development Team have been speaking to the Borough's disabled community to find out about their views on sports activities.

Young people, adults, parents and carer's have been taking part in a research consultation to discover what sports people living with disabilities currently take part in and, which sports they would like be be apart of in the future.

Set up in 2008, RISE was designed to highlight the wide range of inclusive and disability-specific sports available in the borough.

The consultation is anonymous, however participants will be asked to provide a postcode in order to find out more about activity levels across Richmond.

It will also give Richmond's Sports Development Team the opportunity to update resident's information as well as design a plan that will shape the future of inclusive and disability sports.

The deadline for this consultation closes on December 31, and the outcome of the research will be published on the Sports Development website in 2020.
