Officers from the Metropolitan Police Service(MPS) in Teddington have issued a warning to residents about an alleged parking scam.
According to MPS Teddington there have been several reports of a male who is allegedly accosting drivers by claiming that their cars will be ticketed if they don't make a payment.
The man is then alleged to have persuaded some drivers to go with his to withdraw money from the nearest ATM cash machine.
If drivers were unable to go to a cash machine - the man would then ask them to provide their bank details.
MPS Teddington would like residents to be wary and report anything suspect.
