A woman has been pronounced dead after collapsing on Market Square in Bromley.
Emergency services rushed to the scene this morning (November 20 ) just before 11.30am, to reports of a woman collapsed.
Officers attended but sadly the woman was pronounced dead at 11.56am.
Witnesses described the woman as elderly, and said forensic tents had been put up around the scene.
A Met Police spokeswoman confirmed: "Police were called by the London Ambulance Service at 11:20hrs on Wednesday, 20 November to reports of a woman collapsed on Market Square in Bromley.
"Officers attended. The woman was pronounced dead at 11:56hrs.
"Officers are in the process of contacting next of kin."
