The Metropolitan Police Service (MPS) Firearms Command have confirmed that a man has been arrested for carrying an antiques sword.
The man - who is thought to be in his 60's was arrested in the evening at 07:32pm on October 4, on Waldegrave Road in Teddington.
MPS Firearms Command also confirmed that he was arrested on suspicion of possesion of a firearm and taken to a police station in west London.
