Young rowers from an East Sheen family have continued their winning-streak as two of them secured gold medals as they represented Britain at an international event.

Finn Regan,16, Emilia Regan, 15 and 13-year-old Indy, all pupils at Richmond Park Academy, have competed for Great Britain in various rowing competitions during this year and 2018.

Both Emilia and Finn came first rowing for the J16 Great Britain team against France earlier this month – Finn won gold after competing in the quadruple sculls and Emilia also scooped up a gold medal when she came first in the women’s eight.

Tim Clifford, Richmond Park Academy’s Director of Sport said: “We are immensely proud of Finn, Emilia and Indy.

“Their attitude to their sport is an inspiration to all students at Richmond Park Academy and we remain committed to giving them all of the help the school can offer to support their success.”

In 2018, Indy Regan competed in the Junior British Rowing Championships and won first prize in the quadruple scull rowing competition.
