A renowned impressionist artist will unveil a new collection of original and signed limited edition paintings this week in Richmond.

Artist Sherree Valentine Daines will showcase her artwork at the Clarendon Fine Art gallery in Richmond on July 25.

Helen Swaby, Clarendon Fine Art CEO said: “Sherree is one of the UK’s most collectable contemporary artists with a significant international following of art lovers.

“She has been described as ‘the face of modern British impressionism’ and it’s easy to see why.

"She expertly captures every detail, but the finished work is softened by her painterly, impressionistic approach that creates work with timeless elegance.”

Ms Daines is an artist who is at the forefront of modern British art - she has exhibited her work at prestigious venues such as the Tate Gallery, the Barbican and the Royal Society of British Artists.

In 2016 she was commissioned to paint the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh on her 90th birthday in the setting of Windsor Home Park.

She was then invited to attend a private reception at Windsor Castle to present the painting to the Queen.

Celebrities who admire her work and have had sittings with Ms Daines include Joanna Lumley, John Sessions and Sir Michael Parkinson.

Ms Daines is famed for using a modern impressionistic style to capture traditionally British scenes such as the glamour of high society at Royal Ascot and The Championships, Wimbledon to a day at the seaside.

Sherree Valentine Daines unveils her new collection from 7pm-9pm on Thursday, July 25.
