Aspiring tennis players can enjoy the perks family or junior membership programmes that are being served up across the borough this summer.

The scheme is designed to give everyone the opportunity to have access to the borough’s eleven tennis sites, including 44 courts, as well as the chance play in competitions and tournaments and receive individual coaching.

Cllr JF Burford, Richmond Council’s spokesperson for sport said:“The summer tennis programme is always popular with 600 members in the borough at present and there’s always room for more people to get involved.

“With Wimbledon due to start now’s a great time to get on court and start a terrific summer of tennis.”

The family membership scheme grants the whole family access to the boroughs tennis courts and, all junior membership packages for children under-16 can book and play tennis for free.

The borough of Richmond is home to six court sites that have gated access and members will be able to book times online to receive a four-digit code that will grant access to the courts.
