A 50-year-old man is missing from Epsom and police have appealed for help in finding him.

Ian Nelson was last seen in Epsom at approximately 2pm on Wednesday, May 22.

Surrey Police described Mr Nelson as "vulnerable" and said they were concerned for his safety as they released a description of him in their public appeal:

"He was thought to have been wearing a grey zipped hoodie, a t-shirt, grey tracksuit bottoms with camouflage print and blue trainers," when he was last seen, police said.

"He is described as black, approximately 5 ft 8 tall, and of medium to large build. He has thick black curly hair with some grey in it and a thick black beard.

"He has a scar above one eyebrow which goes up onto his forehead.

"He has links to a number of places in London including Battersea, Brixton, Tooting, Richmond and Kingston," Surrey Police added.

Anyone who has seen Ian, or has information that may help officers to find him, is asked to contact Surrey Police urgently on 101 (999 in an emergency) quoting reference PR/45190053182.
