Blankets, cushions and counterfeit clothes were among items seized by trading standards officers at two car boot sales in Sutton.
Along with the St Helier safer neighbourhood team (SNT), officers from Sutton Council visited the Rosehill Car Boot Sale and St Philomena’s School Boot Fair during the past few days.
Some sellers were warned, and told to remove illegal stock from sale, while others were told to surrender their items which would later be destroyed and recycled.
The council says blankets, counterfeit clothes, cushions, perfumes and watches were among the items they seized on those days.
It added: “Sutton Council hope local residents and visitors continue to enjoy the car boot fairs, and we appreciate the continued support of the community.”
