Can you help a Balham school identify the girls in this picture?
Thought to have been taken in the early 1940s, though possible earlier, the picture shows the La Retraite Roman Catholic Girls School’s hockey team.
It was dropped into the school, which was established in 1880, by a neighbour on Atkins Road after they had cleared out their attic in preparation to move home.
Two of the students have been identified as Yvonne Muller and Irina Muller, though it is not known which ones they are.
Now the school is hoping to trace the remaining students.
