Riding on the back of success last year, a Cheam community group has launched a farmers market in Cheam Park.
The group behind Cheam Celebration of Food & Drink, which launched in September last year, are launching the new farmers market “at the request of the community”.
Cheam Celebration Farmers Market will feature “good quality, fresh produce” and will take place on the second Sunday of each Month between 10am and 4pm.
Its launch event this month saw over 2,000 residents come along and featured live music, children's activities, street food, 30+ stalls, craft beer, cider and gin bars.
The next market takes place on May 12 and organisers say it will be bigger and better, growing each month to meet the needs of the community.
