The Richmond Chamber of Commerce has had a busy beginning to April, supporting the launch of two new businesses in the Richmond and Twickenham area.

Zac Goldsmith MP cut the ribbon to mark the official opening of CuraCare’s new East Sheen branch at a Chamber organised event.

CuraCare provides home care services and live-in care to older people living in and around the Richmond borough.

The Richmond Park MP said: “It is always wonderful as an MP to be able to welcome new businesses and employees to the area.

“This new business has already recruited 15 people and it is destined to expand and grow. It provides a massively important service and I was honoured to be asked to cut the ribbon.”

Anne Newton, Richmond Chamber CEO, said she was delighted to have organised and helped celebrate yet another high street opening and this time a Richmond Business Award-winning Twickenham business expanding into East Sheen.

Adrian Mullins, Founder & Managing Director of CuraCare, said: “We were delighted to welcome the MP, Chamber and Richmond Council and look forward to supporting families in East Sheen from our new branch.

“We have developed a fantastic reputation for the quality of our home care services and this is largely down to the calibre of people we employ. We also place a huge emphasis on providing local, 24/7 support to our carers and the families we help.”

Richmond Chamber of Commerce also supported the opening of HSA Dermal Clinic, with Richmond mayor Cllr Ben Khosa on hand to cut the ribbon.

The mayor said: “It was a superb evening and I wore the gown to demonstrate that Richmond Council is inclusive and representative, also demonstrating that multiple cultures can coexist and thus adding value and strengthening our society.

“Best Wishes from me, my team and my family to HSA Dermal Clinic Richmond and very especially to the owners Khaldoon and Hala Allawi.”

Anne Newton added: “It was heartening to see so many of our businesses present to wish HSA Dermal Clinic every success.

“We encourage you to book in for the Chamber High Street Strategy session on April 30 at York House, Twickenham and book future new business openings supported by the Mayor, both MPs, and our local business community.”
