The Ashley Centre in Epsom is giving residents and visitors the chance to walk with dinosaurs from Monday, April 15.

The thematic event, dubbed Dinosaur Invasion, is scheduled to continue during the Easter Break.

The Ashley Centre said that there would be a different dinosaur-themed event on each day of the week, starting with a massive artwork of a dinosaur to draw and colour on Monday.

Other activities planned for the 'Invasion' include decorating "giant chocolate dino eggs with icing, sweets and dried fruit" on Tuesday and shows featuring life-sized dinosaurs on Saturday.

A spokesperson for the Ashley Centre summarised the breadth of activities during the week-long schedule: "This Easter there’s going to be a Dinosaur Invasion in The Ashley Centre Epsom! Starting from Monday 15 April there will be giant art, dino eggs, Jurassic slime, dinosaur mask making, dragon walkabout and on Saturday 20 April meet life size dinosaurs..."

The event is free of charge and it takes place at the Ashley Centre outside House of Fraser from 10.30am until 4.30pm (Monday to Friday).

The Ashley Centre advised that the events are not supervised playschemes and parents/guardians would be requested to stay with their children (and join in the fun).
