Two men were detained by immigration officials at an Erith industrial estate after information that both were living within the UK illegally.
According to a spokeswoman from the Home Office, officers visited Mercy Grace on the Darent Industrial Estate in Landau Way while acting on intelligence on Thursday (March 21).
She said: "Two Nigerian men, aged 34 and 37, were encountered who had overstayed their visas and had no right to work.

"The 37-year-old was detained pending removal from the UK and the second man was ordered to report regularly to the Home Office while his case is dealt with.
"The operation was supported by officers from the Metropolitan Police and the Environment Agency."

Officers from the Northumberland Heath and Slade Green wards confirmed they were in attendance to assist Home Office agents.
