A driver managed to luckily escape unscathed after their car flipped over onto its roof following a nasty crash in Swanscombe.

 
According to Kent Police, officers were called to Ames Road shortly before 9.30am today (March 22) to reports of an overturned vehicle that had crashed into a number of parked cars.


Officers attended the scene alongside crews from the South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent Fire and Rescue Service, who tended to a fuel spill.

A police spokesman said: "No serious injuries have been reported and the vehicle involved has been recovered from the scene."


A spokesman for the South East Coast Ambulance has said that one person was assessed at the scene but nobody was taken to hospital.


Kent Fire and Rescue have been contacted for an update on the fuel spill.
