A new theatre company made of hand-picked talent, breathes fresh life into Ronald Harwood’s iconic classic ‘The Dresser’ at Hampton Hill this March.

Since its premiere in 1980, Harwood’s witty bittersweet love letter to the theatre has garnered Oscar, Olivier, Tony and BAFTA nominations, and has starred the likes of Albert Finney, Tom Courtenay, Freddie Jones, Ken Stott and, in the recent BBC production, Sirs Ian McKellen and Anthony Hopkins.

This new production features a multi-award-winning local team, both on and off stage.

The cast, director and designer boast, between them, a dozen Arts Richmond ‘Swan’ awards and even more nominations, having worked with such local companies as Teddington Theatre Club and the Richmond Shakespeare Society.

The Dresser is set in January 1942, inside a theatre in the English provinces.
