Following a protest against the installation of an O2 telephone, residents in Barnes have started a petition opposing the installation.
According to residents, this mast was set to replace the current one, which is 12 metres.
The new mast was measured at 15.5 metres, which is higher than the permitted 15 metres.
Residents have now started a petition opposing the proposed installation of the O2 telephone mast.
They are calling for Richmond Council and Zac Goldsmith to stop the installation.
In the petition they state that it will have "detrimental health impact to local residents and students of four schools" in the area.
The installation will also obstruct the view of Metropolitan Open Land (MOL) and have significant visual impact to surrounding wildlife.
As of February 28, the petition has 159 signatures.
