A new public bus service ferrying passengers between Epsom and St Helier hospitals is officially being launched next month, it has been announced.
The H1 service, which was previously operated for staff only, will now be open to all other passengers, beginning on March 4.
It will run every weekday from Monday to Friday, starting at 6.25am and finishing at 7.50pm.
At the moment there will only be two stops in Epsom and Ewell – at Epsom Hospital, as well as on East Street at the stop near to the Rainbow Leisure Centre.
However, bosses say more stops could be considered in the future “once the service is operational”.
Epsom-based Quality Line RATP Group has been selected by Transport for London to run the H1.
