Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are set to merge by the end of this year.
This move will allow users to send messages across different networks for the first time.
The New York Times reported last year that Mark Zuckerberg wanted to make it easy for a WhatsApp user to be able to text an Instagram user without needing to switch applications.
However, some are concerned about privacy and whether putting everything in one place is a very safe idea.
Yet Zuckerberg has said the opposite is true, and that in merging all this data, it will actually be easier to keep details private.
Do you think this is a good idea? Or is it just an unnecessary new feature? Let us know in the comments below or on Facebook.
