Eight people have been left injured after a boat crashed in Greenwich.
Officers were called at 5.40pm last night (January 17) following reports that a pleasure craft had crashed near Greenwich Pier.
HM Coastguard said: "A commercial rhib collided with a buoy near to Greenwich Pier on the River Thames."
People took to Twitter to say that they heard a loud bang last night followed by lots of sirens.
The Marine Unit and Coast Guard attended as well as London Ambulance Service who treated eight people at the scene.
Two men and two women were taken to hospital but none of their conditions are being classed as life-threatening.
No arrests have currently been made.
