A man is fighting for his life after he was hit by a car in Croydon last night.
Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to Whitehorse Lane at 7.17pm on January 16 following reports of a road traffic collision.
It was there where they found a car had been in a collision with a pedestrian, thought to be a man in his 30s.
A Scotland Yard spokesman said he was later taken to a south London hospital where he remains in a “critical” condition.
The vehicle involved didn’t stop at the scene and there have been no arrests, while road closures remain in place.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or who has information should call police on 101 quoting ref 7520/16 Jan.
