Prime Minister Theresa May is facing a vote of no confidence as MPs voted overwhelmingly against her Brexit deal in what was the largest defeat of modern Parliamentary history.
A total of 432 rejected the proposals compared to 202 who were in support – leaving a seismic difference of 230.
And while opposition leader Jeremy Corbyn has tabled a vote of no confidence in Mrs May, with hopes of triggering a general election, reports suggest she’s likely to survive it.
MPs will discuss the confidence motion at 7pm tonight (January 16) – just 24 hours after the historic defeat of the Prime Minister’s Brexit deal.
