A Hampton man who assaulted three police officers has been jailed.
George Caraska, 50, of Byatt Walk was wanted for common assault and criminal damage in connection to a domestic incident on September 28, 2018. He was spotted at 6:20pm by PC Holding and PC Gale in Tangley Park car park.
The police officers ran after him and arrested him in connection with assault and criminal damage.
Caraska continued to resist arrest and was also being rude and abusive. The officers were supported by PC Somers, PC McCormick and A/PS Blenham.
During his detention and transport in a police van, Caraska spat at two officers and bit another. He was also arrested for these assaults.
Caraska was convicted at Kingston Crown Court on December 21, 2018 for a total of six offences. He has been sentenced for 21 months in prison and must pay a victim surcharge of £140.
