Surrey Police have issued an appeal for witnesses this week after a man was reportedly “punched in the face” in a knife point robbery in Thames Ditton.
Police said the robbery reportedly happened last week on Ash Path on December 22 at approximately 4.50pm.
Officers said a fight reportedly broke out between two men and the victim was punched in the face and sustained a superficial wound to the hand believed to have been inflicted by a knife.
PC Mark Cox, who is investigating the incident said: “If you were in the area and saw the altercation taking place, please contact us.
“The suspects were seen near Watts Road and Basingfield Road, if you were driving near that area and have a dash cam, please check your footage to see if there is anything captured on it that may help with our investigation.”
