A 54-year-old man has been charged with murder after a woman's body was found following a fire at her home in Teddington.
Police were called to a blaze on Mays Road just after 1am on August 22, Scotland Yard said.
The body of 72-year-old Carole Harrison was discovered inside the property.
William Kydd, of Gabriel Close, Feltham, was arrested on suspicion of murder on August 25 and charged on Thursday.
He is due before magistrates in Uxbridge later today (November 29).
