The Great British Bake Off. star Antony Amourdoux will be joining World Child Cancer at their annual Spirit of Christmas event to celebrate the charitiy’s achievements in 2018 where he will be raffling off a handmade Christmas cake.

He said, “Baking is very special to me, as a young boy my father was my inspiration and now I hope I can use my baking skills to do some good for children with cancer around the world.

"I have been supporting World Child Cancer for a number of years now and am excited to see what the future holds for us, starting with the baking of a special cake for the Spirit of Christmas!”

World Child Cancer provides support for children with cancer and their families in developing countries around the world. 

Over the last 10 years they have given over 20,000 children a faster route to better treatment by training local healthcare workers, covering essential treatment costs and raising awareness of childhood cancer in rural communities.

The Spirit of Christmas is World Child Cancer’s flagship festive event held at Holy Trinity Church, Sloane Square.

Featuring Harrods mince pies, freshly mulled wine and a handcrafted festive themed cake made by Antony which will be raffled off on the night.
