A teenager has been charged with GBH and possession of an offensive weapon after a 15-year-old boy was stabbed in his head in Stonecot Hill.

Police were called to reports of a stabbing shortly before 5.30pm on Thursday evening last week (November 15).

The victim was soon found with injuries by officers before he was later rushed to a south London hospital by the London Ambulance Service.

A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said the victim’s injuries were not life-threatening nor life-changing.

Police then arrested a 16-year-old boy at the scene of the incident on suspicion of causing GBH before he was charged with the offence, alongside possession of an offensive weapon.
