A Wandsworth father was left devastated and angry with Foot Locker's customer service, after they sent him shoes which were different sizes.

Scott Adams bought the Adidas Hardcourt kids trainers for his daughters birthday from the Foot Locker web store, but when he picked them up from the Southfields store he discovered that one shoe was a size 1.5 and other a size 2.5.

To make things worse, when he tried to get the correct size staff at the store refused to swap them and told him his only options was either to go to the Lewisham store where the other mixed pair was or send them to the Foot Locker warehouse in Holland.

Wandsworth Times:

Mr Adams said: "I am livid, not only did they mess up the order, they refused to amend it. The customer service I have received has been appalling. I don't understand why I should have to go all the way to Lewisham or send them to Holland. My daughter was so excited to get her trainers, she picked them out herself and the situation ruined her birthday.

"To top it all off they only offered me 10 per cent off as compensation. At the time they were offering all customers 25 per cent off."

Wandsworth Times:

Mr Adams eventually sent the shoes to Holland and did receive a full refund after much back and forth. He has reordered the shoes after they came back in stock but they have taken almost a week to arrive, despite being told they would come within three working days.

Foot Locker said they did not wish to provide a comment on the matter but are working with Mr Adams to resolve the issue and working towards a solution.
