A person has died after being struck by a train at Mortlake station this morning.
British Transport Police (BTP) were called to the Richmond station shortly after 10am.
Ambulance services, including an air ambulance, also attended.
Paramedics pronounced a person dead at the scene.
A BTP spokesperson said: "Shortly after 10am today, officers were called to Mortlake station, after reports of a person being struck by a train.
"Officers are currently on scene alongside paramedics, however a person has sadly been pronounced dead. Work is now being made to identify the person and inform their family.
"This incident is not currently being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner."
