A Richmond businesswomen has been awarded Best Young Entrepreneur at the business women awards.
Bryony Farmer, 21, started Precious Stars after using reusable menstrual products when she got Lyme disease at 15. It is a Kingston based business that sells eco-friendly, reusable menstrual products to people around the world.
Bryony Farmer said: “I am absolutely over the moon to win this award! The last few years have been tough with balancing my health needs due to Lyme disease, running a Youtube channel and growing a business, so to win an award like this makes all the stress worth it. My hope is that other young girls/women will see what I’ve done
and realise that they are capable of achieving these things too, with hard work and perseverance.”
The Best Business Women Awards are designed to recognise the achievement of those women across a wide range of
business categories and is open to any female business owner UK wide.
Debbie Gilbert, organiser of The Best Business Women Awards said: "We were delighted with the number of entries this year, which came in from all over the UK. This is a tough competition judged by business experts. To win is a major achievement. Winners were selected for their business acumen, determination, creativity and tenacity. Our winners are shining examples of being amazing entrepreneurs who have proved their success to our judges and have showed they have the ingredients worthy of being recognised and rewarded."
