Plumstead has a new addition, but residents are baffled as to what it is and why it is there.

Ryan Scott recently took to Plumstead People to ask about "the pole of no purpose".

He said: "I can't remember who I was talking to or what post it was on but we were talking about bizarre council decisions and waste of council money.

"Someone was curious about something I mentioned. So I present to you the Glyndon mystery that is..... The Pole of no Purpose!"

What we want to know on this sunny Friday is... what is the purpose of the pole of no purpose.
