Kew bridge was closed when a suspicious package was found
Kew bridge was closed last night after a suspicious package was found on a bus.
Traffic and pedestrians were prevented from crossing as police closed off the area at 7.30pm.
A man was arrested on suspicion of making a bomb threat and is now in custody.
The package was later found to be non-suspicious after an investigation and the bridge was reopened at 9pm.
