A Richmond Museum is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a special exhibition opening in October.

The Museum of Richmond, on Whittaker Ave was officially opening on October 28, 1988. The exhibition will explore the museum’s history and its collections through the eyes of 30 people, who have been involved with the museum over the years.

The exhibition and museum are free to visit. The exhibition will be accompanied by events including evening talks, a Museums at Night Birthday Party on October 25 and a special Curator’s Tour, at 2:00 pm on Saturday, October 27 marking the official anniversary of the Museum.

The 30th Anniversary exhibition opens at the Museum of Richmond on October 20 and runs until February 23.
