A paint-it-yourself pottery studio has opened in Epsom.
Happy Glaze Ceramics has room for 28 people at its new premises in Waterloo Road.
Open seven days a week, the brainchild of Angie Starr is hoped to provide a clean, cosy and relaxing environment for children and adults to decorate pottery.
Ms Starr said she was “delighted with the positive welcome” since opening, adding: “We have been looking for premises for a while, and when the shop in Waterloo Road became vacant it was absolutely ideal for us.”
The studio offers birthday parties, workshops, after-school clubs and also adult-only sessions on Thursday evenings.
Ms Starr said: “We supply everything the artists needs including a large selection of pottery, huge selection of non-toxic paints and all the brushes, sponges, in fact everything needed to create a masterpiece.
“Our customers have been busy creating their own unique pottery with a personal touch like a mug with a child's handprint, a custom designed teapot and a very special dog bowl.
“When the artist has finished, a clear glaze is applied by the studio and the pottery fired. Items are available for collection a few days later.”
