The Liberal Democrats have won control of Richmond Council after a collapsing Conservative Party lost 36 seats.
Now with 39 seats, up from 14, this is the best result for the Lib Dems in more than a decade.
The Conservatives now have 11, the Green Party now has four (all gains), and the Labour Party, which had two seats as a result of Lib Dem defections, has none.
Other candidates included those from the Women's Equality Party, Ukip, the Socialist Party and independents.
Turnout was 51.38 per cent.
