Parents of children with additional needs received a relaxing treat last week from a Richmond rehabilitation company.
Lizzie Tough and her team at Body First UK, a new physiotherapy and wellbeing clinic in Hampton Hill, teamed up with local charity Rulis to offer 15 parents an aromatherapy massage on June 22.
The charity, which supports children and adults with disabilities in the UK, wanted to give parent who spend their time battling everyday challenges a ‘well deserved treat’.
Gill, a parent who attended the pamper day said: “The Body First building is beautifully decorated and the masseuse was very kind and polite.
“Best of all I had half an hour to relax and think!”
Claire, also a parent who attended, said: “Well that was just divine!”
