A martial arts school is being set up at Holy Trinity Church of England Primary School in Richmond.
An open evening is planned for Thursday, July 12 (7pm), including demonstrations of Choi Kwang Do, and classes will then be held each Tuesday and Thursday at that time.
Instructor Anthony Wendt said: "Choi Kwang Do is a non-contact, non-aggressive street self-defence.
It promotes non-violent resolutions to conflict, practical solutions to cardiovascular improvment and an enjoyable method of exercise."
