Staines & Laleham Cricket Club's poor run continued on Saturday when they failed to prevent fellow strugglers Ripley gaining their first points of the season.
Captain Brett Archer said: "I'm bitterly disappointed.
"We didn't give a decent account of ourselves and we must improve if we are to have any chance of resurrecting any possible promotion chances."
Visitors Staines decided to bowl first and would have dismisssed Ripley for a low score but for a revival led by Thompson (82no) which lifted them to 194.
Sean Archer took 3-29 and Kirk Mullard 3-57.
Staines fell well short on 123 despite resistence from Jaspinder Raipur (53no), Mark Stevens (20) and Kavish Patel (11).
On Sunday, Staines had better luck, beating home side Chiswick and Latymer by eight wickets in the Middlesex Vase Trophy.
Chiswick were dismissed for 126, with Kirk Mullard taking 3-26, Sean Archer 3-23 and Steve Weller 2-23. Weller then led Staines to victory with 54no.
