A major gas mains project in Petersham will cause road closures during the school summer holidays.
The essential work to replace old metal pipes with tougher ones will involve the closure of Petersham Road between junctions with Star and Garter Hill and Manor Farm House between August 1 and September 4.
Project Engineer Phil Walden said: “We’ve planned the work in close discussion with the council and other agencies to make sure disruption is minimised.”
