London's Air Ambulance landed in Twickenham last night after a man jumped into the river and got into trouble, according to police.
Twickenham Alive tweeted at about 9pm that the helicopter had been seen trying to land by the riverside.
Richmond Police this morning said: "This was a male who had jumped in the water and got into difficulty."
