The Asian Ukip candidate for Richmond Park in last year’s election is accused of racially abusing a Tesco trolley collector in a car park row.
Sam Naz, who finished fifth in the race for Zac Goldsmith’s seat in May 2015, allegedly racially abused Mohammed Wafta, 48, referring to him as a “f***ing foreigner,” reports the Mail Online.
Mr Wafta, who is of Muslim background, allegedly intervened in an argument between Ms Naz and another customer on March 22 in Leytonstone, Snaresbrook crown court heard.
Ms Naz, who is of Pakistani descent, gained 2,464 votes for the Richmond Park and North Kingston seat in the general election.
