Teddington Town were left frustrated by Farnham Royal's last pair in Thames Valley Three on Saturday.
After being put into bat, all of Town's top order made starts, but only Gareth Simmonds fully cashed in with 56. Farnham's slower bowlers then stemmed the run tide and Town's final total of 218-9 was a little short of expectations.
Left armer Ben Moxon soon had Farnham in trouble, however, and excellent fielding helped him return an impressive 5-46.
Despite stout resistence from Saghra (49), Teddington were left with three overs to pick up the home side's final wicket. Though this never came, Town were still able to take home a maximum bonus points haul of 15.
Town's seconds racked up a score in excess of 250 against Henley at Bushy Park before the rains came. Maxfield, Beeson and Capper-Starr all recorded half centuries.
