Teddington Town followed up their opening week winning draw with victory over Royal Ascot on Saturday.

Andy Towse's unbeaten 59 was the main contribution for Ascot as three wickets fell to Tamblingson and two each to Dardagan, May and Russell.

A run-a-ball knock of 73 from new opener Steve Rose put Town in command before three wickets fell for one run. But skipper Simmonds (43no), Russell (30) and Dardagan (21) saw Teddington home.

Town's second team recorded a winning draw at North Maidenhead. Derek Facer's 60 and Liam Capper-Starr's unbeaten half century took Town to a formidbale score, but the hosts were able to deny them a maximum haul.
