Brit Award winner James Morrison celebrated his Best Male Artist accolade with a glass or three of bubbly in Chiswick last week.

The 22-year-old, knocked back champagne in true rock & roll style and tucked into a huge burger as revellers enjoyed a night to remember at All Bar One, on the High Road.

Simon Watts, 25, from Chiswick, said: "I couldn't believe my eyes when he walked in. It was only the night before that he was partying at the Brit Awards with the likes of Noel Gallagher and Take That, and now he's drinking with the likes of us - what a top bloke."

The trendy bar was packed to the rafters at the re-launch of the newly refurbished watering hole.

Manager Matt Mallet said: "It's great that James came down, he seems like a really down-to-earth bloke. We get quite a few celebrities in here, but his timing couldn't have been better.

"We've spent over £100,000 giving the bar a make-over, including specially chilled wine casks which means your wine is never corked and the temperature is spot on. I'm not sure if James noticed, he seemed happy with the champagne."

Morrison, whose debut album Undiscovered went straight to number one, was relaxing with friends and family, but Watts added: "One twit who had had a few too many glasses of vino went over to shake his hand and knocked over a drink into his friends food, but Morrison laughed it off and even posed for a picture."
